The church of flaming funk aims to disrupt the frightening and un-natural flow of humanity tword detachment and thoughtless obedience. We trust that each person is born with their own extreemly hip conection to existance and morality. It is our personal conection with self evident cosmic funkyness that telivsion, advertizing, greed based religions, government and main stream media seek to sever. Amputaed from our natural funkyness; consuming no other influences but that which we are fed by evil and greed, our minds are boxed in and we become dangerously square.
We have faith that the funkiest world to live in would be the one in which each person knew for themselves how to act and what to believe based on their own experience, that each person be responsible for the funkyness of their own groove.
 
As an Alaskan performance group made up of musicians, fire spinners, aerialists, UV/blacklight performers, artists, sculptors, stilters, and dancers we employ every available artistic tool to induce our audiences and ourselves into a phunktazmagoric state.
As our minds are overwhelmed we lose our programing, our obedient thoughts dissapate, and we return to ourselves with the freedom to funkify our minds.
